We’re thrilled to welcome Rawie Elnur, MSc, to Resource Works. Rawie joins us with a strong background in data analysis, energy transitions, and climate finance.
He will be leading a new socio-economic study on Northeast British Columbia—a region that contributes disproportionately to provincial and national prosperity yet often remains out of sight and out of mind.
Rawie holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Forestry and Environment from the University of British Columbia, supported by the prestigious Canada Graduate Scholarship – Master’s (CGS-M), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics. His academic work has explored the intersection of sustainability, policy, and data-driven decision-making, making him an ideal leader for this project.
Our study aims to shed light on the economic and social significance of Northeast B.C., ensuring its industries, workforce, and communities receive the recognition and policy attention they deserve. Rawie’s expertise—ranging from climate security risk assessments to energy data visualization—will help us bring fresh insights to this research.
